Philip Hirshman, MD, FACOG
Dr. Hirshman has been providing care at Women’s Health Care Specialists since 2006. He attended undergraduate school at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He then earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist.
He lives in Wynnewood with his wife Jen and his three children.

I used Dr. Hirshman when he was still in dallas,tx and am very sad that he moved. I was a young mother and he helped me through a ver yhigh risk pregnancy and helped my now husband adjust as well. He is a very humble doctor as well. When i would get frustrated (after 7 wks in the hospital) he would be very empathetic and calm with me. He was a blessing and I wish I had been able to charter a plane to PA when I had my second (also high risk). He is greatly missed by many of his Dallas patients. To those of you in PA, you have no idea how lucky you are to have him there!

This is the best doctor ever, knowledgable, thorough, compassionate, funny, with an excellent bedside manner. He was my OB, did my C-section and went on vacation. But he called me at the hospital while on vacation to see how I was doing. Apologizes for any slights whatsoever. He is my favorite doctor of all time.

I and my wife had two visits to Dr. Hershman. It was really nice to meet him. Friendly welcome, Excellent knowledge on diagnosis was remarkable. And He has got an excellent Nurse too. She is really cool and nice to meet her too. Me and My wife like him very much. I rate him at highest and recommend without hesitation to anyone! An excellent Dr!

Dr. Hirshman is the most polite, caring and compassionate doctor I have ever had. He helped me get through my pregnancy by calming my fears and anxiety. I highly recommend him. You won’t regret having Dr. Hirshman as your doctor.
